About Spencer
Spencer
Spencer Brasen was born of February 24th, 2005. He was born 14 weeks prematurely and weighed only one pound ten ounces. Spencer's survival is nothing short of a miracle. In 2006, Spencer was diagnosed with spastic diplegia cerebral palsy. Since that time, Spencer has required rigorous, ongoing therapies including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy in order to do the simple things that the average person takes for granted each day. Although he is not even four years old, he has seen more doctors and undergone more procedures than a lot of people do in their whole lives, including expensive, painful and potentially dangerous Botox injections in his legs twice a year.
Today Spencer is a bright eyed, happy, energetic little boy. He continues to have trouble with walking, speech, hearing and many other tasks but is very determined to overcome his disabilities. When he falls he gets back up and keeps going. We feel that we have to give him every opportunity to be everything that he can.
THANK YOU FOR HELPING US HELP SPENCER!
